i really briefly blanched the corn in salted water

added almost too ripe tomatoes (the best kind) + basil + skinned peaches
bargain peaches, the smaller blemished ones, also, the best, the worse they look on the outside, often, the better they taste

salt + pepper and nothing else

summer produce is so insane you don't need to add anything to it and it's like you're a flavor master, when really all you are is good at picking fruits + vegetables, cutting them up, combining them and remembering the value of salt.
